THE VALE DRIVING RANGE

At the Vale performance centre we have a state of the art driving range and fitting studio to cater for all your golfing needs.

With 14 fully carpeted floodlit bays set in a beautiful panoramic setting, all bays include Toptracer technology and 6 bays include power tees.

Situated to the right of the range we also have a practice bunker that you can use to practice your bunker shots. Please use the range balls only when practicing in the bunker.

Toptracer Range uses the same technology used on televised golf tornaments to track the shots of the game's best players, it is transforming the everyday driving range experience. Guests can compete against friends, play virtual courses, and receive instant shot feedback on interactive game screens.

Tailor your range experience by playing the following Toptracer Range game modes:

• My Practice - Dig deeper into your golf bag and learn the nuances of each type of club. This mode allows you to store your stats on the Toptracer Range App.
• Approach Challenge - Fine-tune your iron play in this game of nine approach shots on your choice of three legendary courses.
• Virtual Golf - Experience some of the world's greatest golf courses, like Pebble Beach, right from your bay. Play a full 18 holes without ever leaving the range.
• Long Drive - Who can hit the farthest? This game lets you settle the debate once and for all by turning the range in a proper long drive grid for up to 8 players.
• Points Game - Complete for points based on proximity to the target. The closer you get to the target the more points you earn. Add in 'Air' bonus rings for an extra challenge.
• Closest to Pin - The object of this classic game is simple; Hit it as close to the pin as possible. The player whose ball stops nearest the target wins.
• Go Fish - Play individually or as a team to catch each of the 24 different sea creatures and as many stars as possible.

POWER TEE

The Power Tee practice system helps golfers of all ages and skill levels by providing a consistent experience with a solid - and proven - product used worldwide. Power Tee units are installed at St. Andrews, The Belfry, Celtic Manor, Le Golf National (2018 Ryder Cup host) and many other prestigious locations around the world.

PERFORMANCE CENTRE

Our fitting studio was built to create a private fitting experience where you can come to be fitted in warm friendly environment. We use Flightscope radar ball tracking software to accurately analyse your swing to correctly fit the correct shaft and head to suit individual needs. We have a wide range of demo equipment to suit every player including the tour fitting carts from Nike, Taylormade, Ping, Callaway and Cobra thus leaving nothing to chance and giving each player a wide range of shafts to try rather than just the standard shafts that the manufacturers offer. Fittings can be booked in to suit any individual and can be performed 7 days a week and booked in up to a month in advance.

There is a charge for fitting of £30 however if a club is purchased then the £30 gets deducted from the price of the club and as we are a part of Foremost we constantly review our prices to make sure we are competitive. The whole experience of being fitted at the Performance centre is centred on our mission statement to provide the best fitting experience in the midlands in a friendly environment with PGA experts. We are simply here to help you get the most from your game and we are not American or Direct golf where you hit balls into a net and told you have gained 50 yards, we offer impartial unbiased advice.
