THE VALE'S PROFESSIONAL TEAM

Here at The Vale we have a fantastic highly experienced team ready to help you improve your enjoyment of the game by working with you on your golf.

With our great facilities we can work with you on all elements from long game through pitching, chipping, bunkers and putting to psychology and course management. We use video and flight scopes in our studio to enhance the experience if requested.

We are all patient and empathetic and have a true team spirit – we have a variety of coaches to choose from and please don’t feel embarrassed if you wish to try a different coach as its important to us that you feel that you ‘gel’ with your golf pro.

TIMOTHY SHEPHARD

Head PGA Professional

Working to the moto ’Practice Hard, Play Easy’ Tim will help you gain knowledge on how to improve your golf whilst optimizing your quality of practice. He works closely with the video app Technique to make sure you can see the results, you will also receive a before & after video to help you refer back to away from lessons.

Coaching the game of golf is something Harry really enjoys, seeing people improve and getting more out of their own game gives him a genuine feeling of pride and satisfaction. He teaches children as young as 4 up to adults of all abilities, each providing different tasks for him yet ultimately he enjoys the shared goal in growing in the game of golf .

Ruud joined the team in March 2021, having decided to turn professional after having reached a handicap of +3 and graduating from Bournemouth University with a BSc in Sports Management (Golf).
He enjoys creating an informative and enjoyable learning environment for golfers of all levels; using video analysis in lessons to help reference patterns and reference progress.

Golf lessons can take place on our covered floodlit driving range, swing studio, chipping/bunker area, putting green or on either of the courses. We can help you with all aspects of your game from the basics in technique to subtle psychology and from how to gain length to what shot to play where.

As well as individual lessons you can share your lessons at a small extra cost. For a less intense feel why not try group lessons?
